Dadadada?

Look at her belly!

Julia is semi-crawling. She hasn't taken off around the house but she's almost there. She gets in the crawl position and slowly works her way around the living room.
Yes, we have a Rottweiler and yes they have a bad reputation. But someone forgot to tell Gypsy because she's shy and borderline lazy (she even has her own bedroom). She doesn't mind PJ's curiousity. Julia and Gypsy make a great team because if Julia drops any food (Cheetos), Gypsy is there to clean up the mess.

We've had a few new events this past week. First, we were at Tiny Tots for the Synagis shot & her weight is 17lbs 5oz. We were very excited. Second, I hate to admit it but we heard PJ's first "dadadada." But, I'd rather hear dadadada then the screeching noise she's discovered and likes. Third, we've had a set back on the mouth feeding. It began during Thanksgiving. Julia lost interest in trying to feed. We kept trying (3x a day) but now, she won't even let you put something on her lips. She doesn't like the sight of the spoon either. So, we're back to the early stages. I let her play with the spoons and every once in a while I'll playfully touch her face. It doesn't seem to bother her. She hasn't lost total interest in Cheetos (yet) so, we're still hopeful. Boy, who would have thought feeding by mouth would be so difficult?

Go Julia! Time to babyproof the house!! Hope the feeding picks back up again. When our girls finally do decide to truly eat we will have to really celebrate!!
