Halloween '06

Julia didn't get to trick or treat this year. I was all prepared to hit the streets but she had a slight cough and congestion. I didn't want to take any chances so we stayed home. Oh well, there's always next year. It's not like she eats candy.

We are in the "I want to help" phase. It's so cute because if she wants to be involved she says "I help you." If I'm dusting, she likes to dust with her own rag. When I switch the clothes from the washer to the dryer, she likes to push them in. She does draw the line when it comes to vacuuming. As soon as I turn it on, she's headed for the other room.

There has been some progress in the eating department. PJ's new therapist seems to be having quite a bit of luck. Last week, Julia took 5 bites of yogurt without spitting it back out. But getting Miss Attitude to do the same at home is another story. She still tries things and most of the time she swallows it but not in the high chair. The big hit is orange juice. She will take a sip and then tell us "more" in sign language.

Two of Julia's molars came in. One on the top and bottom have broken through. I thought more of the front teeth came in before the molars but I guess not.
