Cruisin' along

Since the weather was so nice last Sunday Julia took her hot rod for a spin. She hasn't been in it since Christmas. I wasn't sure if she could reach the pedal enough to push it so I tucked a pillow behind her to see if it helped. It did. Before I realized what was happening, she found the pedal and took off across our front yard and was heading for our neighbors garage. Learning to steer is a ways off so I put her in the middle of our street (we live on a cul-de-sac) and turned her loose. We didn't have to worry about her hitting anything - she went in whichever direction we set the wheel. Julia loves to turn the ignition key (engine revs), honk the horn (repeatedly), and the radio (plays three songs - all sound like cheesy 70's TV series like CHIPS). She really thinks she's hot stuff.

Julia had her first car accident on Monday. When I was setting her in the car, I didn't realize her foot kicked the shift into reverse. Guess who was standing behind her when she pushed the pedal??
