Cute stuff

Julia hasn't mastered the f and th sounds yet so she says: punder (thunder); pip pop (flip flop); pish (fish).

When she says her name, it comes out as Juja.

When she wants to be held, she says "Mommy, hold you."

She freaks when she hears the trash man but she likes to stand in the yard and wave.

And then there's Barney. LOVES him. She has two versions of the famous song. The happy version is "I love you, you love me, we're a happy family with a great big hug (she hugs herself) and a kiss (she blows kisses) from me to you...." Then, there's the not so friendly version. "I love you, you love me, we're a happy family. NO hugs, NO kisses from me to you...." When she's in a singing mood, she'll grab her microphone and sing loudly.

As a reward for eating, Julia gets to watch a Barney video. It's her favorite and I can sing every word of it and mimic the characters. If anyone is interested in Barney's Birthday Surprise, don't bother buying it. Just call me and I'll sing it for you. I deserve an Oscar award for my performance. And the Oscar goes to......Carrie for her performance in Barney's Birthday Surprise. This talented actress convincingly played all of the character's. Barney, BJ, Baby Bop, and Mother Goose....

Aunt Lea bought Julia a wagon for Christmas and she loves it. Our usual route is a lap or two around the neighborhood but the second she realizes we're going home, she starts whining and saying "I don't want to go home. Not home. Let's go again." When we do get back to the house, she refuses to get out of the wagon.

Julia loves my new car more than I do. Anytime we head out she asks "Can we take mommy's new car? Where's the car seat?" If it's raining she'll say "Oh no, it's raining on mommy's new car!"

On our recent trip to Missouri, I heard Julia say "Oh my goodness!"

Miss Princess has a boyfriend. Julia has been with the same group of kids at The Little Gym and has really taking a liking to Noah. This morning she spotted Noah getting out of the car and started calling for him. They hugged the second he walked through the door and when we left.

Every time the phone rings she asks "Is it Gammy or Nizzie Nou?" That's my mom and sister.
